Helmut Karl Schmidt (b. 1921) is a German author, noted for his science fiction novels under the pseudonyms Ive (I.V.) Steen and H. Ch. Leroy, and his collaborations with P.A. Müller, including the Hollow Earth research group Gesellschaft für Erdweltforschung.
