Boggy Creek Monster (not to be confused with the Boggy Bottom Monster) is a crypto-hominid type reported around the town of Fouke, Arkansas, and particularly in the Boggy Creek area. The creature was the inspiration for Charles B. Pierce's 1972 faux-documentary horror "The Legend of Boggy Creek" and its sequels.
