The Borderland Sciences Research Foundation (formerly Associates) is a non-profit organisation based in California, informally organised in 1946 and legally incorporated in 1951 (as the "Borderland Sciences Research Associates Foundation") by founder Meade Layne, later reduced to "Borderland Sciences Research Foundation" in 1968 under Riley Crabb. Their primary function has been the publication and distribution of books and pamphlets that deal with "borderland" material, including member contributed materials in the areas of Spiritualism, the New Age, alternative medicine, and flying saucer research (particularly their 4-D theory), most notably in the form of their long-running newsletters the Round Robin and successor Journal of Borderland Sciences (1945-2004).
