James Gilbert Ernest Wright (January 16, 1883 - August 14, 1959) was a Scottish-born chemical and electrical engineer, a researcher at General Electric Co., as well as an associate of Borderland Sciences, through which he published his claims to have made telepathic contact with the spirits of Thomas Edison and Charles Steinmetz, as well as his studies of the Multi-Wave Oscillator and other "borderland" devices.
