Thomas Carlyle (Inner Circle)

From Kook Science

Portrait engraving from Century Magazine (Jan. 1899)

Thomas Carlyle — as in the noted Scottish historian and essayist Thomas Carlyle (December 4, 1795 - February 5, 1881) — is a member of the Inner Circle intelligences, a body of astral personalities that Mark Probert professed he channeled. Of note, Probert's Carlyle contributed an essay, "Man Know Thyself", to the BSRA's original 1953 edition of "The Magic Bag" (though this was not included in later editions).
