The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, including: Scotland, Wales, England, and Northern Ireland.
This political union encompasses lands of the Kingdom of England, which annexed the Principality of Wales (Tywysogaeth Cymru) in 1536; became enjoined with the Kingdom of Scotland to become the Kingdom of Great Britain in 1707; after which, in 1801, Irish lands were annexed into the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland; until, in 1922, the Irish Free State seceded and the U.K. became the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, in which configuration it currently inhabits.
