Ashtar Sheran is, according to contactee reports, the First Commander of the Ashtar Galactic Command and high-ranking member of the Supreme Galactic Council, and sometimes referred to as Commander-in-Chief of the Free Federation of Planets. He was first represented to the public by George Van Tassel as simply "Ashtar," with further details and rankings being attributed to him by later mediums who claimed their own contacts, including Doris C. LeVesque, Robert Short, Trevor James, Ethel P. Hill, Marian Hartill, Tuella (Thelma B. Terrill), and a host of others.
