Ashtar Command
From Kook Science
The Ashtar Command (a.k.a. Ashtar Galactic Command) is the name for an apparent hierarchical body of extraterrestrial beings, claimed to number in the millions, and which are said to act as guardians or galactic law enforcement officials assigned to the planet Earth (Shan). The Command takes its name from Ashtar Sheran, its leader.
The structure and function of the Command has been detailed by a number of contactees and trance mediums since the introduction of Ashtar to the flying saucer community by George Van Tassel. The concept was first put forward by Robert Short, who had broken with Van Tassel and his Ministry of Universal Wisdom to found the original Ashtar Command in 1952, later being expanded and refocused by Thelma B. Terrill (Tuella) in the 1970s and 80s as Ashtar Galactic Command, and thereafter by many, sometimes conflicting, accounts on the internet.
