The Weltmer School of Healing was a Nevada, Missouri-based correspondence school offering courses in Suggestotherapy (Weltmerism), active from 1901 as a successor to the dissolved American School of Magnetic Healing, which was under a post office ban due to a fraud order. The school was essentially identical to the earlier American School, and remained under the joint direction of S. A. Weltmer and J. H. Kelly for two years, at which time Weltmer bought out Kelly in 1903 to become sole owner; Weltmer dissolved the school three years later, the business being absorbed by the Weltmer Institute of Suggestive Therapeutics.
