J. O. Crone

Jacob Otto Crone (January 3, 1864 - April 6, 1942) was an American magnetic healer associated with S. A. Weltmer and the Weltmer Institute of Suggestive Therapeutics at Nevada, Missouri.

On 6 Apr. 1917, Louis Thompson, described as a patient of the Weltmer Institute, shot Crone and two other men, Charles Janes and John Cooper. Janes and Cooper would later die of their injuries.
