The Violetta High Frequency Generator is a violet ray-type device that was marketed as an instrument for electro-therapy. According to the copy, it was "especially recommended in all cases of rheumatism, sciatica, lumbago, neuritis, skin diseases, or in all cases where increased circulation is desired," and further acts with "sedative effect" for "nervousness, insomnia, lack of mental and muscular tone," etc. The generator was sold by Bleadon-Dun Co. of Chicago, Illinois.
