The STAR-Rite Violet Ray is a violet ray-type device that was marketed as an instrument for electro-therapy. It was sold by Fitzgerald Mfg. Co. of Torrington, Connecticut, which was principally a manufacturer of gaskets and seals for combustion engines, horns, electrical fans, spark plugs, and various household appliances.[1]
