The Shelton Violet Ray is a violet ray-type device that was marketed as an instrument for electro-therapy. It was sold by Shelton Electric Laboratories of New York, which later merged with Halliwell to form the Halliwell-Shelton Electric Co., manufacturers of the Halliwell-Shelton Violet Ray.
