The MK Projects were a series of Central Intelligence Agency programs, conducted by the Technical Services Division (TSD) in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Defense, with the purpose of studying biological and chemical agents for use in clandestine operations, including their applications in behavioural modification and mind control of human subjects. These programs were related to work done in Projects BLUEBIRD and ARTICHOKE.
