Project MKSEARCH was a U.S. Central Intelligence Agency program conducted in cooperation with the Department of Defense, established in 1965 and eventually becoming a successor to Project MKULTRA, for the purpose of "developing a capability to manipulate human behavior in a predictable manner through the use of drugs."[1] The project was reported as terminated in 1973.
Sub-programs of Project MKSEARCH included MKCHICKWIT, for studying drug developments in Europe and Asia, and MKOFTEN, for behavioural and toxicological research of drugs on humans and animals.
