Project MKNAOMI was a U.S. Central Intelligence Agency program conducted in cooperation with the Department of Defense, established in the early 1950s as a successor to Project MKDELTA, for the purpose of stockpiling and developing "severely incapacitating and lethal materials," and the development of "gadgetry for the dissemination of these materials."[1] The research into biological agents by this project was reported as terminated in 1969.
