The New Atlantean Research Society was a non-profit organisation based in Florida, incorporated in the 1970s by Joan and Patrick O'Connell. The primary function of the society was investigative, focusing principally on matters related to flying saucers, Atlantis, and other areas of anomalistic interest, and to which end it published the quarterly New Atlantean Journal.
