Chino Shoho (Japanese: 千乃正法, or ちのしょうほう, "Chino's True Law") is a Japanese contactee group, founded in 1977 by Yuko Chino, a former member of Takahashi Shinji's God Light Association. The group is more commonly known as the parent body of their more infamous research arm, the Pana-Wave Denpa Kenkyuujo (Pana-Wave Electromagnetic Wave Research Center), or simply Pana-Wave Laboratory.
Beliefs
Chino asserted that she was the co-incarnation of the Archangel Michael (ミカエル, Mikaeru), successor to Jehovah (エホバ, Ehoba), who came to Earth some 365 million years previous as part of a group of scientists from Veh-erde (ベー・エルデ星, bē erude hoshi), and that the True Law was based on the teachings of Apollo of Delos, the Greek god and also a co-incarnation of Michael.[P] These claims were tied into earlier American saucerian lore regarding the Space Brothers, in particular Valiant Thor (a.k.a. Archangel Thor, トール), who was supposed to have been in contact with the U.S. government, as detailed by Frank E. Stranges, Howard Menger, and others; per Chino, Valiant Thor was offering assistance against the Communists and their scalar wave weapons.
