The Silver Ladies of America was a short-lived Washington, D.C.-based women's auxiliary to the fraternal Silver Knights of America, which itself existed principally to support political campaigns on the issue of free silver, promoting bimetallism as the monetary policy of the United States of America.[1] The ladies' organisation was "intended to strongly develop the social feature" of the Silver Knights work.
