Subproject 88 was a U.S. Central Intelligence Agency program, active July through October 1958 and operating under the aegis of Project MKULTRA, organised for the purpose of funding the writing of "integrated report[s] covering the major literature on social character" in American culture and another unidentified culture by unidentified researchers at Princeton University.[1]
