Peter Vilhelm Glob (February 20, 1911 - July 20, 1985) was a Danish archaeologist who made extensive investigations of mummified bog bodies, including the Tollund Man and the Grauballe Man, both discovered in the peat bogs of Jutland. Glob theorised that many such bog bodies were the remains of ritual murder victims, sacrifices made to Iron Age deities.
