Harold E. Puthoff (b. June 20, 1936) is an American electrical engineer and parapsychologist interested in remote viewing, the latter work being of particular note in relation to Project STARGATE, a program that was formerly conducted by the Stanford Research Institute (and SRI International) in collaboration with the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency.
