Creotina was a "neutralized acid-free preparation" of creosote oil (a distillation of wood tar, discovered by Karl von Reichenbach), manufactured and sold by Creotina Chemical Co. in the early twentieth century. The preparation was advertised as medically useful in the treatment of influenza, pneumonia, tuberculosis, bronchial cough, colds, etc., and as a "general reconstructive."
