The College of Therapeutics was a department of Joseph Rodes Buchanan's American University (as founded December 22, 1882 in Boston, Massachusetts) that was promoted as a school of medicine amenable to "curative methods unknown or neglected," and in particular offering to teach the disciplines of Sarcognomy and other non-allopathic forms.[1]
