The United Society of Believers in Christ's Second Appearing (Shakers) are a Restorationist millenarian and nontrinitarian tendency that broke from the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), based on the teachings of Mothers Jane Wardley, Ann Lee (1736-1784), and Lucy Wright (1760-1821).
