Boyd's Electro-Medicated Glasses are electro-therapeutic spectacles, sold through regional agents in the late 19th and early 20th century and promoted under the name of Professor J.C. Boyd of Boyd's Battery fame. The spectacles were offered "in gold, celluloid, nickel, steel and rubber frames," and were presumably marketed as possessing the healing powers of electricity, similarly to the aforementioned Boyd's Battery (or J. Moses' Electro Galvanic Spectacles).
