Batsquatch (portmanteau of bat and sasquatch) is a cryptid of the Pacific Northwest, reported particularly in the regions near Mount St. Helens in Washington state. According to popular accounts, the creature is a large mammal with leathery, bat-like wings, sometimes compared to the Javan ahool.
