The Akualele Research Group was a Honolulu, Hawaii-based saucerian organisation, directed and operated by Riley Crabb until his departure to California in 1957. It was active during the mid-1950s, hosting monthly "Space Conventions" in Honolulu and published the Akualele Research Group Bulletin from 1956 through 1957.

The group's name, "Akualele," is a Hawaiian word meaning "fireball" or "streak of light," sometimes described as "flying spirits," associated with the practice of sorcery.
