Wizard Clip (Middleway, W.Va.)

Wizard Clip is a common name for a haunting that was reported to have taken place in the home of Adam Livingston at Middleway, also known as Smithfield, in the lower Shenandoah Valley of Jefferson County, West Virginia. The name is based on the claimed recurring sound of shears clipping in the afflicted home and the poltergeistic snipping of various articles of fabric and boot leather into different shapes, including particularly half-moons.
