Richard "Rich" Marvin DeVos Sr. (March 4, 1926 - September 6, 2018) was an American multi-level network marketer and investor, notable as the co-founder of Amway (American Way) with Jay Van Andel, the two basing the direct sales model of their company on that of Nutrilite Products, where they had both been distributors. At the time of his death, DeVos was estimated to have a net worth of over $5 billion.
