Jay Van Andel (June 3, 1924 - December 7, 2004) was an American multi-level network marketer and investor, notable as the co-founder of Amway (American Way) with Richard DeVos, the two basing the direct sales model of their company on that of Nutrilite Products, where they had both been distributors. At the time of his death, Van Andel was estimated to have a net worth of over $2.3 billion.
