The simple formula is:
- Submitted text is CC BY-SA 3.0;
- Images and other media are whatever they are;
- Don't do anything illegal, beware of the eagle (it's got you by the neck).
The license Kook Science Research Wiki (a.k.a. Kook Science Research Hatch, a.k.a. Research Hatch, a.k.a. http://hatch.kookscience.com/) uses by default is the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported (CC BY-SA 3.0) license, which grants free access to our content, allowing it to be copied, modified, and redistributed so long as the copy is likewise released on the same terms, and that acknowledgment of the author(s) of original article are included in the copy (in terms of sharing online, a simple link back to the source article would satisfy the attribution requirement). Copied content will therefore remain free under appropriate license, and can continue to be used by anyone subject to minor restrictions that ensure that freedom of use is carried on.
These terms do not apply to the contents of the Kook Science Resistance Blog (http://blog.kookscience.com/) or Kook Komix (http://komix.kookscience.com/), which are different sites with different priorities, and belong to the persons responsible for them.

Citing Images
Images and other media that are submitted may be licensed under different terms. Tags for licensing notices on media will be posted under Intellectual Property Licensing, and all currently acceptable options for licensing on this wiki are available as a drop-down selection box during the Upload process.
