The Knights of the Golden Rule (K.G.R.; or Knights and Ladies of the Golden Rule) was a North American benefit society, formed by A. M. Worcester and others, including former members of the Order of Mutual Aid (then defunct) and the Ancient Order of United Workmen, in August 1879 at Cincinnati, Ohio, and incorporated in January 1880 at Louisville, Kentucky.[1]
