The Robert C. Byrd Green Bank Telescope is the world's largest fully steerable radio telescope, situated in Green Bank, West Virginia and within the National Radio Quiet Zone (NRQZ), formerly part of the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (until September 30, 2016), and presently a facility of the National Science Foundation, operated by Associated Universities, Inc.
