The Ichthic acrostic in the Sibylline Oracles contains the quoted word: IESOUS CHRIESTOS THEOS UIOS SOTER. Godfrey Higgins says there is in the Adyta of St. Peter's Church a column or lithos on which are inscribed the words, "ZEUS SOTER." There is esotericism in this."
