Donald Edward Keyhoe (June 20, 1897 - November 29, 1988) was an American Marine Corps naval aviator, manager of the promotional tours for aviators (including Charles Lindbergh), and writer on many aviation-related matters, including unidentified flying objects, a field in which he earned renown as a co-founder of National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena (NICAP).
