Christopher O. Bird (May 11, 1928 - May 2, 1996) was an American intelligence agent, reportedly employed by Central Intelligence Agency during the 1950s, who became a "New Age" writer in his later years, noted particularly as the co-author (with Peter Tompkins) of The Secret Life of Plants (1973).
