Catherine Elise Muller (December 9, 1861 - June 10, 1929), also known as Hélène Smith (the pseudonym used by Théodore Flournoy in his From India to the Planet Mars), was a Swiss trance medium who claimed to have astrally travelled to ancient times and other planets in the solar system, particularly Mars.
