The American Buddhist Society and Fellowship, Inc. was a Tibetan Buddhist organisation, founded by Robert Ernst Dickhoff (Sungma Tenzing Lama) in 1945. According to Dickhoff himself, in his book Agharta, the corporation was the "medium for the Potala in Lhasa, Tibet, which is a Philosophical and Spiritual Sanctuary ruled over by the present Regent Nywant Sungarb Thutoh Galtsten," guardian of the Dalai Lama,[1] and generally the White Lodge of Om Mani Padme Hum Tibet, See of New York.
