Zandark

Zandark is an extraterrestrial contact that was claimed during the mid-1970s by Timothy L. Smith, a self-described psychic and head of the Alexandrian Temple of Light in Atlanta, Georgia. According to Smith, Zandark had the code of R2-17 and was "a member of the United Cosmic Council, a commander-in-chief in charge of directing technical transmissions via mental telepathy or the combination of Mediumistic telepathy under the direction of the Confederation of Cosmic Space Beings," the psychic method being preferred in part for defensive purpose to avoid tracking of their movements.
