The World Policy Institute (WPI) was an American internationalist organisation that succeeded the earlier Institute for World Order in 1982. The institute published the World Policy Journal from 1983 through 2018, and as well as the World Policy Papers series, in addition to financing lecture tours and undertaking research projects, including the "American Priorities in a New World Era" program. In 1991, the institute became part of the New School for Social Research, through which it continued to operate until 2018 when it ceased public operations.
