Werner K. Stiefel (March 10, 1921 - June 8, 2006) was an American chemical engineer and entrepreneur, founder of Stiefel Medicinal Soap Co. (later Stiefel Laboratories). During the late 1960s and early 1970s, Stiefel sought to establish a libertarian seastead in the Caribbean under the auspices of his Operation Atlantis, though these attempts failed and the project was ultimately abandoned.
