The Welsh Indians (or Welch Indians, also called White Indians in some sources) are supposed descendants of a North American colony that was said to have been established by Welsh settlers under the leadership of Madoc ab Owain Gwynedd, a son of Owain ap Gruffudd (Owain Gwynedd), during the twelfth century.
