Walter Bowman Russell (May 19, 1871 - May 19, 1963) was an American painter, sculptor, musician, author, and proponent of certain scientific and "New Age" hypotheses, which he taught and lectured on through his University of Science and Philosophy at the Swannanoa Palace near Waynesboro, Virginia.
