Understanding, Inc. was a California-based non-profit organisation, originally formed in 1955 by Daniel W. Fry and formally incorporated in 1960 at El Monte, California, which existed for the purpose of promoting Fry's saucerian ideas and coordinating local working groups of believers, in particular hosting meetings and conventions (e.g. the Understandorama) and publishing both newsletters and books.
