The Brain from Planet Arous is an American sci-fi horror film about a disembodied brain monster called Gor from the planet Arous who possesses a nuclear physicist when he is discovered in a Mystery Mountain cave, proceeding then to conquer and cause mayhem, and who is opposed by Vol, another Arousian who seeks to capture Gor for his many crimes. Originally released in 1957, the film was directed by Nathan H. Juran (as "Nathan Hertz") from a screenplay by Ray Buffum.
