Robert St. Pierre
From Kook Science
Robert St. Pierre was the bishop of a small congregation of Bible students calling themselves St. Peter's Church (derived from St. Pierre as the French form of Peter) based in Llano, Los Angeles Co., California. St. Pierre and his followers built a replica of the Ark of the Covenant at Llano in the early 1980s, believing it would act as an electronic device to enable communication with God.
