Oriental University was an American correspondence school, incorporated by Helmuth P. Holler in 1904 (and re-incorporated under the charter of Eastern University, Washington, D.C., in 1915), which offered multitudinous degrees in a variety of subjects, and was eventually shuttered by 1924 on charges of being a diploma mill and for engaging in mail fraud.
