Press Coverage
Re: "UFO Invasion: The Night an American Town Died of Fright"
Reporters looked into Official UFO magazine claims that there were UFO attacks on the town of Chester, Randolph Co., Illinois during the night of 2 Aug. 1977. When confronted with evidence that the story published in the magazine was almost certainly a hoax, the magazine staffers responded by doubling-down on their claims, and stated that Chester had been "somehow resurrected and the memory of the event was erased from all but a select group of minds."
