Matthew Nikolai Mattson (January 30, 1900 - June 13, 1979) was an American astrologer and publisher based in Los Angeles, California, associated with Selfology, Cosmic Science, and Psychonic Science. Mattson had served during the First World War in the U.S. Navy, re-enlisting in the post-war period, until he was discharged following an accident that left him disabled by "fainting spells and nervousness."[1]
